Stringing Zithers presented a collection of Asian Zither instruments. Led by Wei li on guzheng, the stringed zithers were brought to life by guest performers Kozue Matsumoto on koto, Grace Jong Eun Lee on Kayagum and accompanied by our talented ensemble on erhu and ruan. Wei li was the first Chinese instrumentalist to be nominated for a 2009 Grammy for performance on guzheng. The night’s program included solos that demonstrated technical skills developed from lifelong training as well as exhibiting the musical brilliance created when the instruments are played together. The venue was filled to capacity and the concert was sold out.

溫哥華中華樂團將於2010 年 5月15日 星期六 晚上7時半 在溫哥華中山公園舉辦一場慶祝溫哥華五月Asian Heritage Month的音樂會. 這次音樂會由古箏大師李煒的表演為主，并特別邀請曰本古箏演奏家Kozue Matsumoto和韓國古箏即伽耶琴演奏家Grace Jong Eun Lee共同展示多元風格的亞洲箏族音樂。李煒是一位集全國古箏派系於一身的多元化演奏大師，是第一位入围格莱美提名獎 ，使中国音樂文化瑰宝终于得到国际顶尖级音乐奖项的承认与接纳。
另外兩位溫哥華中華樂團的演奏者是二胡演奏家黃繼榮和三弦｀阮演奏家常青。通過該音樂會聽眾將可以欣賞到演奏者們的精湛技藝和驚嘆的旋律。
